      The election results in the Greenlandic home-rule parliament suggest Greenland will pursue a balanced strategy, maintaining economic ties with Europe while exploring broader international partnerships and a slow gradual path to more independence from Denmark unlike the ruling parties which favored a faster approach to that.

      The center-right Demokraatit party won in a landslide with 29.9% of the votes, securing 10 out of 31 seats. The pro-independence Naleraq party followed with 24.5% and 8 seats. The ruling coalition of Inuit Ataqatigiit and Siumut saw a major decline, dropping to 36% collectively and losing 10 seats.

      The Naleraq party coming in second, pushed for immediate separation, favouring closer economic ties with the U.S, however opposed being a part of US like all the parties do.
