      I mean highly unlikely but it could be the psy-op of the century and trump had a bullshit spat with zelensky in the white house to make it look like usa hates Ukraine so when this peace deal got offered and russia broke it trump could go all in.unlikely but it would be a good play

      The fact it’s taking Russia this long to say yes when last week the negotiating team said they wanted peace means that Russia is not interested in peace. Calling for a ceasefire will be a sign of weakness as there special military operation has not yet been completed.

      What I can’t square is the people saying that Putin has dirt on this guy. What possible dirt could Trump care about? He’s been convicted, his base idolizes him no matter what; what could you possibly hit him with?

      There’s not really much Trump can do to ” punish ” Russia economically, the US and Russia basically don’t trade at all.
      Even if the US stopped all trade with Russia they wouldn’t even notice.

      The moment the ceasefire is signed all of Europe should be in Ukraine building the largest defensive line then can muster in those 30 days.

      They should already have been prepping for that possible outcome weeks ago.

      Russia is not gonna agree and I think Ukraine striking Moscow is part of en effort to make sure they don’t because Russia has to submit to peace through defeat and they with if they think they can win this war.

      I don’t believe Trump for a second. The penalties he’s suggesting are meaningless. Russia doesn’t do much trade with the US anyway. This is all just performative bluster to “prove” Trump is an honest broker. But when Russia responds with a list of additional demands in order for it to accept a cease fire, mark my words: Trump will immediately flip it around and declare that Ukraine had better comply with these new demands or the US will cut off support.

      In the end, Trump only cares about helping Russia, and doesn’t care in the slightest what happens to Ukraine.
