Let’s just make sure that all these US talks with Russia and Ukraine don’t make our European governments forget that we need to get our shit Tourette because we’re sandwiched between some traitorous dictatorships.

The Agent Krasnov rumor surfaced on February 25th.

We need to just say no and send peacekeepers. Make a buffer zone like north Korea. Keep them away from Europe

Hard pass. russia must not be given one inch. They need to loose inches, to show them that their aggression will neither be tolerated nor rewarded.

Side note: The owner of the ‘Wash…post’ is Jeff BeNzos.

So, if DJ DUMB wants that to be postulated…here you can read it. It this would have been interesting/new in any form, then it would NOT be reported in the Wpost and been labled as fake news elsewhere.

So think about that when you read those lines…just for context purposes.

There is a simple path to peace that should be pursued- Russia returns Ukraine to Ukraine; all of it. Peace keeping troops would be the use of European resources to kick Russian forces out if they choose not to leave.
To let Russia know we are serious, use coalition forces to enforce a no fly buffer zone within 100km of Ukraine border and intercept any flying Russian objects, dropping the debris onto Russian territory.

Interesting that a country that uses donkeys at the frontline thinks it can make any demands at all. Like Selenskjy said: There won’t be ANY territory given over. Fuck Russia.

There’s no reason to push Russia out completely screw peacekeepers send in the push back force! Stop fucking around! If the equipment is provided and the countries back the fight I’m all in!

    9. Greenland, Canada, Mexico, EU, Tariffs…if at all makes sense if Trump is doing Putin’s bidding.

They can make all the buffer zones they like. As long as they are inside Russia.

They even say up front that they will break a peace agreement: “without official recognition of Russian sovereignty over the seized region, it is “fairly likely” the armed conflict will resume in the medium term, “for example after the next change of administration in the U.S.””

The USA should be deploying counter strategies the other way
      – up pressure on government by influencing Russian people war is not worth cost
      – up the costs to Russian people through economic measures
      – create tension between Russia and its allies – add costs that force Russia to abandon international commitments
      – create tensions in republics and empower separatists – give Russia domestic priorities more important than Ukraine
      – Create wedges between Putin, oligarchs and military

Maybe it’s happening covertly, but Krasnov outwardly is not putting much pressure on Russia other than allowing Putin to make decisions at his own leisure upon his own criteria.

But he’s imposing a hell of a lot of problems and pressure on the west which does not help with negotiation.

If nothing else, at least Russia is admitting here it does not want to stop the war. Even after the gaslighting propaganda saying Ukraine is the country that wants to fight Russia. Ukrainians didn’t pick this fight but they sure are making Russia look like a bitch.

I find the psychological tactics they lay out for the negotiations fascinating, and also quite frightening:

      >Boris Bondarev, a Geneva-based former Russian diplomat, said Russia was trying to lure Trump into talks by demonstrating its “openness and flexibility,” while Putin would try to drag out the negotiations by positioning himself as “a real, true friend to Donald Trump who understands him completely, who wants to help him, who wants to help him achieve his goals in United States. But of course he would need something from him because he cannot do it just free.”

These guys are expert manipulators, and Trump strikes me as a guy that follows his gut feeling more than careful analysis. There are numerous narcissistic, washed-up celebrities that has fallen victim to putins surgical precision in finding what they want to hear, what they fear the most, and fuelling their anger at what they perceive as terribly unjust witchunts back in their respective countries. Like Steven Segal, Gérard Depardieu, Oliver Stone, guys like Trump, charged with sexual offenses, corrupt politicians and business men. The kind of people Trump loves to be around.

      >The document, **written in February**

      > highlights the challenges still facing Trump in reaching any agreement with Russia for a peace deal, **now that Kyiv has endorsed Washington’s proposal for a 30-day ceasefire**, appearing to bridge a divide between the two countries.

Huh? Make it make sense please.

As long as they get an inch of land the war was not a waste for putin

    17. boblywobly99 on

for a country that has been reduced to using: (a) donkeys/camels for transports; (b) North Koreans and African/poor mercenaries as troop supplementation, this is quite the take. Either they are delusional or ballsy or just plain drunk (the answer is D, all of the above).

I read somewhere they are back to the older Cold-War demand that Russia be left alone to interfere from Eastern Europe to Central Asia… which is a crazy cold-war relic but here we are in 2025 with Trump’s US demanding a new Monroe Doctrine where they more or less call the shots on Panama Canal, Canada, Greenland, etc.

We are a far cry from Woodow Wilson’s 1919 self-determination for all free peoples and nations.

      This is the darkest timeline.
