My eyes are teary, my heart beats fast—I want so badly for my country to be included in EU defense projects. I want to be European so badly. I am incredibly proud of our defense industry. People will downvote, but I couldn’t care less. Europe and Turkey need each other, and that’s a fact. I hope the European Union will finally admit Turkey this time. I am hopeful about the Turkish accession process. Europe needs strong leadership, and for that, I am especially hopeful about Ursula Leyen. I believe she will announce new developments in Turkey’s EU membership prospects soon. She and Erdogan have a great relationship. Long live the brotherhood of all European peoples, including Turks and Canadians!
