Merz is an idiot, that said, the end of our debt brake and higher defense spending and more help for Ukraine was about time.
I think Trump helped to unite Europe behind Ukraine with his idiot behaviour against Selensky.
I understood from his remarks during campaign that he is planning to not only continue supporting Ukraine but also increase support. There should be nothing more important for Germany in the context of European Security than ensuring a sovereign Ukraine that is armed to the fucking teeth.
The slumbering economic giant awakes at last.
The important part is, that they will make it legal to ignore the debt-brake for the ukranian-help in the future
