Luggages go under the seats but people are retarded

Depends on the occupancy. But posting it on Reddit won’t make the people doing it change their behaviours.

really depends on who the owner is, I mean the race

You could always let them know that they can place their mid-sized luggage in the space between the seats…

This infuriates me so much, I will look very angry and shake my head slightly while passing.

In my experience, a lot of people travelling with luggage are not the most frequent train users (either local car users that don’t want to pay airport’s parking or tourists from countries with less public transport). They don’t understand that the train is not well adapted for this use (because it’s a minority of train users) and that other people may be bothered.
But luckily, there are also lots of nice travellers, who care about other users. I try to focus on those.

Next step is, being low key pissed if someone just sits down, without having asked “isch doh noh frei?”. The seat may have been unoccupied, but you still should ask.

travelling with big luggage is always a pain on IC train like this. If the carriage is full, it’s socially acceptable to confront the owners… at your own risk

Most of the trains serving the airport are extremely poorly equipped to handle the amount of luggage that is to be expected.

Nope. If there are other free places. If there are not enough free places, I would tell them that some of their luggage can go under their seat.

It is infuriating but let us identify whose fault is this: there is so little and inefficient space for suitcases in Swiss trains. I have traveled in the UK and Germany: they may lack in punctuality but they figured out the problem of suitcases far better than SBB.

I don’t think the big luggage can actually fit anywhere else.

I ask people to move their suitcases and they always do. If they refused I would just put it in the aisle and let the ticket inspector shame them.

Depends on the occupancy. If there is enough room for people to sit, i couldnt care less, why should i?!
If the train is full then posting it on reddit wont change anything, it neither helps your situation to sit nor would it educate the owners of the luggage.
The only real solution to your problem is to open your mouth and talk to the owners of the luggage, everything else is just farming for confirmation and internet points.

We have also to say that the majority of regional trains that go to the airports have no dedicated space for luggage.
I do find it mildly infuriating and hence I lightly shake my head while passing
