      Best regards. I wonder, if Pope Franciscus were to resign, like the pope before him, how long ago was there a “double renunciation”? I think the last pope to resign before Benedict XVI was like 600 years ago or something

      When he was on the news I had strong feeling that any moment we’d get an update that he’s passed away, so even though death is around the corner for him judging from his age and health, it’s still nice to see him alive.

      I hope he lives for a while. With right wing propoganda on the rise, i feel safer with this guy as the leader of the Catholic church, compared to some of the psychos they’ve had in the past.

      I neither care for him on a religious level (catholic here), nor personal (Argentinian here), in fact… by clinging to power despite his many ailments he is confirming all my prejudices. Power above all, I do hope next time we will get a less political pope (especially this kind of pro shitty governments), and more focused on the lithurgic, and trying to invite people in, not out christiandom.
