Part of the decline in the effectiveness of Russia’s glide bombs is that its air force is being pushed back as it loses air defense systems and the Ukrainian air force gets more capable. It is having to drop its glide bombs from greater distances, which makes them less accurate. We have also been seeing decreases in the volume of glide bombs that Russia has been able to launch since November.
And the Ukrainians are by about to send the Russians some presents too……the jam resistant GLSDB is being supplied.
Counterpoint: this also why we see glide bombs landing in residential areas.
The bomb will still fall and explode somewhere, just not the intended target.
If they somehow could fly back to Russia!
These bombs we’re causing hell to defending troops this with make Russias assaults a lot harder now
European, not American F-16s. The ones Ukraine are using/will be receiving may have been designed in the USA, but they were built in Europe.
