It’s a closed-cycle natural gas power plant, a battery farm and a grid link, which will use the existing gas grid just like the other natural gas plants around the country. There is no LNG involved whatsoever in the granted permission.

This is an outrageous decision by the government to be importing fracked gas. Especially as I wrote to them a few months ago to tell them that I have a supply off natural gas coming out of my arse and that I was willing to volunteer my arse to be connected up to their pipework to see how many houses I could power. I never got a response from them. It just goes to show you how the government are in bed with Big Gas and they just ignore us smaller gas producers.
