I feel bad that you guys don’t know Serbian to be involved into layers and depth of how much of an absolute shitstorm is happening in a recent few days, let alone past 4 months.

You could legit direct and produce 3 whole new seasons of the Wire from all of this

You got a link to both pictures? I hate when they “zoom” like this but actually use different photos

      Vucic day after the protests:

      – We dont even possess such a thing, you filthy, disgusting liars. Anyone who spreads these lies will be prosecuted

      – Minister of inner affairs Ivica Dacic: “We actually do have it but it’s stored unpacked in storage room”

      – Next day: “It is unpacked but we would never use it”

      – Next day: “Yes we use it but only as a speaker so we can warn citizens”

      – Next day: Marinika, the left opposition got ahold of documents that MUP officially ordered 16 of these, two different types.

      – Same day: Videos and images of our police using it surface.

This is not a comedy movie, it is actual, legitimate events lol

Someone with know-how could geolocate that picture and the video where the people part down the street. My guess is that car with the sound cannon is parked around the front of where the people were hit by that sound cannon.

I don’t see what the big deal is. When a Western country uses one it will be completely normalised by the media and various governments. More virtue signalling and soapboxing over something you’ll see on the streets here soon enough, and let me guess, the comments on places like Reddit will suddenly turn very sympathetic or more likely apathetic towards the usage of these things…

Oh, I wonder how they’ll normalise it especially when King Trump starts to use it. He always gets the kid gloves by the self proclaimed free press and governments who speak for democracy and freedom.

It’s always the same pattern. From “Literally Hitler” to “Well ackshually…” depending entirely on location.

It shouldn’t be bigger? I don’t see how that thing can create 160dB

Since the regime is undemocratic, Serbians should be considering unseating it any other way. 800 thousand people could dislodge Vucic anytime of the week, sound cannon or not

Fake news: It ain’t no jeep it’s a Land Rover. Everything else could be true though.

I don’t know how often this weapon was used in history, but this was a clear demonstration on how effective it is.
As it is basically a loudspeaker, the sound can vary a lot.
Is it documented whether the noise was very high and ear-piercing, or very deep and felt in the body?

In this weather, definitely more humane than water cannons that German and French police used on their protesters.
