Attualmente sto programmando di acquistare una fotocamera tramite questa app, il venditore ha elencato la fotocamera per 60 euro, ma abbiamo negoziato per 40 euro (compresa la spedizione).
Il venditore vuole solo farlo usando PayPal e non tramite l’app. Non so molto di questa app, poiché normalmente uso Vinted, è normale o sto per essere truffato?

Try to ask If you can Pay the Kleinanzeigen fees. If the Person does Not want that, maybe you will get scammed.
And never Pay with PayPal Family & Friends. Only If its an amount of Money you dont really Care to loose.
If he accepts paypal goods and services then he probably isn’t scamming because then you can get your money back, but if he wants you do only pay thorugh the friends and family option, then that’s 100% a scam
Possible to get scammed. But a lot of people trade via paypal even legitimate ones.
In website the money is held back until the buyer confirms that the shipment was legitimate. But if you as the seller legitimately ship your goods and the buyer simply lies and says that the received goods were fraudulent, the buyer gets all his money back and keeps the goods.
So a lot of sellers only go via paypal as you can’t claim your money back that easily. This protects legitimate sellers but also enables scammers.
So in the end you have an unsolvable problem: sell via kleinanzeigen –> buyer is possible a scammer and keeps my stuff and gets his money back. Sell via paypal –> seller is possible a scammer and keeps the money and the buyer can’t get it back
Thats normal. The Payment system directly in the app is quite new and some people dont want to use it. Its also quite expensive for buyers.
If you use PayPal and you dont trust the seller, then just use Käuferschutz.
You need to send 41,38€ with Käuferschutz, so that after deduction of the fees 40€ reach the seller.
It depends. Post the link to the Anzeige. This may be someone who regularly sells stuff and has done so for 13 years but it also could be a hacked account that someone has stolen.
As a longtime user the seller should be offering paying via Kleinanzeigen, especially as there are too many scams.

many people including myself do not want to use Kleinanzeigen’s disaster payment system. it’s a 3rd party company that operates it on their behalf, and if anything goes wrong you’re faced with a brick wall and no possibility to get support – kleinanzeigen cannot be contacted, this payment system just tells you to wait and nothing gets resolved
i’ve had two negative run-ins with this myself as a seller where i tried this method to get paid
one of them the buyer of my item paid but due to a system error their payment wasn’t registered by the system, it had left their bank though. so they thought they were getting scammed, and I wasn’t shipping the item until the system told me the money was paid (to avoid getting scammed myself). the buyer filed a police report against me for scamming them, nothing ever came out of that
for the other one, after shipping the item the buyer ghosted me completely without pressing the ‘i received it’ button and the system made me wait 2 entire weeks before the money was paid out for me
the only payment methods on kleinanzeigen I accept now are paypal f&f or SEPA real-time transfer (which as of this year is free with every bank). or cash & the buyer comes to pick up in person (preferred)
