What not being able to walk or take public transit does to people. Literally. Protests are not possible with only personal vehicles.

I swear on my life Trump/Musk fans are the biggest sheep imaginable. They want protests against the wealthy and powerful to be polite, well-mannered social gatherings, they only think they should charge to their deaths if they’re commanded to by disinterested billionaires who will leave them to rot in prison if they don’t coup hard enough

Americans when their country becomes a dictatorship : “yep, guess it’s over, no need to use any gun or even try to strike”

Europeans when orange juice is too expensive : “so you have chosen death”

The same folks in the photo on the left aren’t getting any EU support. Instead, the EU is standing firmly with the dictator in the making. Shame.

Trump’s son met with Vucic in Belgrade a week ago.

1/3 of the people in the US voted for Trump, 1/3 couldn’t be bothered to vote and the remaining 1/3, even if they wanted to protest in DC with every fiber of their being, are spread across 9.8 million square kilometers, many several days drive away, both unable to afford the time or the cost to make the trip, much less afford to lose their jobs, and subsequently their health insurance in the process.

But they have their 2nd amendment, then again what is a sheep going to do with a gun.

on the other hand, Americans have never had to overthrow a tyrannical government, despite all their 2A bluster.
They’re like a newbie boxer who is dazed after they’re punched for the first time.

Serbia is not in the EU, and members of this sub often remind us that we are not wanted there. Meanwhile, EU officials continue to act as if everything is normal in Serbia, engaging in “constructive” talks with our dictator.

Please change the left picture. It doesn’t represent the EU. It’s Serbia.

This isn’t the EU, this is Serbia. Let’s not appropriate their protests.

Also, I kinda feel sad for the Americans.

“And they all sat there and did NOTHING as they watched it happen. The end. No more USA.”

    12. Notice how the BLM or the Free Palestine  movments had bigger turnouts. Identity politics at its best. Those american “democrats” don’t really care about the way the system is run, just the narrow interest of their groups, or what is the latest virtue signal.

As a foreigner living in the US, I think this is not entirely fair for one big reason: Trump and co were voted in in a fair election. And it was an overwhelming defeat, at all levels of government and across the country.

As much as I despise him and his policies personally (they affect me personally tremendously, given my visa status and the fact that I’m in academia), living the consequences of an election is part of living in a democracy.

As a Serb, do not put an EU flag over our protests. The EU is suppprting the dictator and is of no help. Before you start calling out Americans, clean up your own backyard.

Almost as if Reddit doesnt represent the majority of Americans.

To be fair, Serbia has been corrupt for many decades. Trump has been in office for not even two months

Lol most of Europe are just as weak. Only the French get out and burn things and scare the government and dutch some too. The rest are well behaved tax slaves
