Trump of course, smiles, interpreting this to mean the people belong to him too.
Neither does US control over Ukrainian power plants nor US companies mining in Ukraine contribute to peace. Putin does not fear the reaction of the US if his regime seizes American assets in Ukraine. We know for sure because as a response of the sanctions, Russia seized American assets in Russia and there was no reaction.
It is obvious that US politicians’ greatest fear is to lose American troops in a war, thus they lack willingness to fight. This is their weakness and Putin knows that.
