      For comparison, this would make it Russia’s 4th deadliest war ever, depending on how you define the Napoleanic Wars (not as a single war, since they were punctuated with lots of peaces) and Russian Civil war (as a single war, since they were all basically happening at the same time). 1/2/3 are the two world wars and their Civil War, obviously.

      I mean if it was only 100K killed, that is still astronomical, and now double that, in only 3 years. That is almost 4X the number of Americans that died in 10+ years in Vietnam.
