I wouldn’t worry too much about America. Trump is preparing to dismantle their education system, which is likely to prove very difficult to repair even after he is gone. It will help create and deepen the economic crisis their own government is creating and in 10 years you will already start seeing a vast impact on the number of genuinely educated Americans. As soon as its done you can bet many states will effectively end public education or turn it into a bad joke as fast as possible.

Trump is about to break whole industries like tech and defence long term for lack of competent workers and drive huge increases in inequality. And who knows what he will choose to destroy in American society next week and for the next 5 years. Unless America experiences some sort of major change of circumstances the result will vast long term self inflicted damage and problems.

If they continue like this America is throwing away its own future.
