Ik begrijp dat allemaal niet zo goed, Rudi, hebben we net geen andere discussie gehad waar je aangeeft en aanklaagt dat journalistiek niet meer neutraal is?
Hoe past dit dan?
Of mag de media niet-kritisch zijn op links? Maar wel van centraal tot rechts?

Are we aware of how the Overton window has gone to the far right? How the social democrats and right wing governments/parties/media have bought the xenophobic ideas of the extreme right regarding “migration is a problem” and “we need to invest more in arms”?
Then we will be surprised that far right is winning more and more votes in the EU…
Dat idee van die terugkeershubs (of het “australische model”) heeft 2 grote problemen:
1) het is juridisch twijfelachtig, maar dat is te verhelpen
2) ge moet een derde land dom genoeg vinden om die hub te houden (bv: Rwanda, waar het nu uitermate rustig is /S)
Zoals Ellschot het zei: “tussen droom en daad staan wetten en praktische bezwaren”.
Moreel-ethisch zijn we weer ons (ditmaal menselijk) afval aan het versjassen naar de Derde Wereld.
Het klinkt allemaal goed, en het doet het klootjesvolk kwijlen, maar in de realiteit is het allemaal populistische bullshit waar toch niets van komt.
