      It’s amazing that they succeded restoring it. I’m from Bucharest and since I was 5 I went many times in vacation, during summer, im Constanța with my mom and dad. I made many good memories eating pizza from the restaurant Scoica and going on a stroll, on the seafront, where the Casino is. I never been inside of it obviously, maybe I’ll have the chance now 😀

      It’s impressive, but seems to me to be really oddly top-heavy, aesthetically, in many aspects of the design. Makes it feel quite gaudy.

      I honestly love the new lights they installed. Some people complained because they’re the original ones, but the originals didn’t fit the Art Nouveau style of the Casino.

      Amazing! I have still somewhere my pictures from 2017 when it was a „Lost Place“ halfway to collapse.

      Last time I was there was 1984!It was old and decrepit but a beautiful building. Very cheap beer the 20p a bottle and frequented by several prostitutes. I was 17 at the time and spent 10 days there on a ship. Very different times under communist control but met some great local people. Shame the police continually stopped us and checked our papers!
