      Depressing but expected and unsurprising. This guy is a salesman yet in charge of diplomatic negotiations of unspeakable magnitude. Talk about being out of one’s depth.

      Trump wants a deal quickly and it doesn’t matter to him if he throws Ukraine under the bus. Witkoff is simply following the “give Putin what he wants” directive from Trump and he will be a faithful lap dog right up until Trump changes his mind and hey presto Witkoff will be all on board for the next great idea what ever that is.

      and Crimea was never a “gift”. it was a task. Ukraine was tasked with turning it into a vacation destination for entire soviet union, by making it habitable via building canal, infrastructure, etc. So to think russia has any claims to come and “yoink” it is laughable.

      We all should not overestimate the intellectual capacity of Vat-Witkoff. He is just an old real estate manager w/o ANY experience of acting as a honorable and trusted personality on international stage. He is grown up in the same Mafia/Gangsta businesses as DJ DUMB. And again, he can count from 1 to 3 and can say: „Yes, my master!“, both to diaper-don and Putler, thats all. He is a piss of sh…and a sc…bag. Period.

      Trump doesn’t want peace, he wants the talks to fail in a way, so he can blame Ukraine for it and use that as an excuse to permanently pull all support.
