Because if you have some solution for the first one better speak up now as there’s potential to stop both of these with one solution

They could encourage harvesting instead of burning it, plently of different types of machines around designed just for that purpose. Could be used as fodder, gorse has a high protein content.

I remember seeing helicopters flying regularly in Dublin 8 back in 2022. I wonder if there was a reason why?
Regular happenstance on the Mizen, Beara and Sheep’s Head as well. Rather blatant, you see gentlemen walking around with petrol canisters.
Why do they burn the gorse in the first place? Is it such a nuisance to cut with a hedge trimmer or mulching it?

A lot easier to get water in with a helicopter. Also used to cut off the head of a fire or a way to slow it down enough to get boots on the ground. I can only speak for what we do in America that being said be lucky you are not packing water and pumps up to a fire.
