Oh but he does get Russia. That’s the problem.
Of course Witkoff only sees the Russian side. He is first generation American but Russian on both sides. He is essentially a Russian trying to dictate terms to Ukraine.
They get it. But it doesnt match their goals. When will people understand that …

Well, he doesn’t understand. Putin is a war criminal he doesn’t understand anything about the history of Eastern Europe. He doesn’t understand that this is an existential crisis for Ukraine, but also for Europe. Yes, that’s because he’s a New Jersey real estate developer. What a chump.

If you play it out, the only way this works is if Europe gets to the table.
I think Trump will fail and this will happen.
But what I don’t understand is, why is Zelenskyy saying that there is positive progress in Saudi Arabia talks?
It doesn’t make sense based on what Witkoff is saying.
