      While I’ve decided that I now won’t be buying a Tesla as my next EV, I’m not going out to protest.
      People can buy a Tesla or not. No skin off my nose. This is just bullies trying to control people instead of just letting people live their own lives and make their own decisions.

      I don’t have a tesla, and don’t plan to buy one. I actually have an electric car that is a VW, so there is no personal impact on me from this protest,
      but I think it is beyond stupid.
      some people saved money to buy a tesla for their own reasons, and maybe they like it and want to keep it, or can’t afford to sell it because if they sell it now they’ll be at loss. other people like the brand and don’t give a shit about Elon Musk. if you don’t like a tesla, don’t buy one.
      if you want to be a saviour, buy only irish, organic, fair trade, locally sourced etc. cancel your meta accounts, amazon and then go to the protest.

      I don’t own a Tesla, but I think it’s pretty shitty to damage someone’s car because you don’t like the company ceo. I know it’s complicated but I just think of the owner of the car, it’s not really fair to them, they didn’t do anything wrong, and a couple years ago you’d say they were doing things right by buying electric.

      Not opposed to this. I do wonder how VW et al managed to get away with diseal gate though. I suppose not having a CEO desperate for attention probably helped.

      Obviously good to hit him where it hurts, although I’m not sure what an Irish protest actually achieves. Bit ridiculous tbh.

      I don’t like what this is doing for electric car take-up though. Alternatives have really developed in the last number of years in fairness but they always seemed like the flagship.

      Elon gets his power through X, ergo; stop using X and it removes his power.

      You’re deluded if you think lowering Tesla stock is going to matter in the long run to his wealth (there’s a little company called space x) – all this does is hurt individuals that have bought a Tesla and the many people that work there.

      If you want to protest then protest towards your own government to put better protection in place to stop the spread of misinformation, to better protect our kids from toxic masculinity and right wing ideology.
