Remarkably bad performance by this woman.
Drama is an understatement. Watching it now and they’re all spatting over nonsense. “What you said yesterday was disrespectful” “At least yesterday you allowed me to speak and I could actually finish my point”. All this fucking nonsense while the problems of this country get ignored.
Edit: Not sure if Murphy is what they’re discussing as I missed the writing on the screen. Regardless, it’s embarrassing and annoying to watch. It’s as bad as the UK. HEAR HEAR, WAAAHAAAAYYYYY.

She’s my local TD since I moved into the district a little over a year ago. We all know she got the job to put her out of the way, not because of an astute diplomatic insight.
She’s a clown, has been out of her depth since this Dail formed, and should have the deceny to resign with a little grace. Verona is a fucking joke and can’t perform the role.
There are worse things to happen than stepping down to actual represent her constituents, and letting someone more credible fill the role.
Are the government happy they chose the cowboys instead of negotiating with a semi left group to fill the coalition?
Are they happy that they are being mired in all this drama just to accomodate Michael fucking Lowry?
If only literally everyone could see this coming

I genuinely don’t believe anyone in the Dáil has confidence in her, how could you?
Do her voters even have confidence in her? She was elected as an anti establishment “the children are in Isis” candidate and now she has the most establishment job in the room.
Irish politics is such a joke. It’s nearly April, 6 months after the election, and this nonsense is still going on and no actually work that benefits the country is being done. Yet, if there was an election in the morning, I guarantee the Dail would have an almost identical makeup with the same FG/FF cast getting back in and Lowry topping the poll in Tipperary.

In fairness, was painful to listen to yesterday… like a pissed off mother scolding kids
It seems like the Govt are trying to be too clever by half.
Giving Lowry a seat at the table, installing Murphy as CC and giving half of them a junior ministry while allowing the rest to pretend to be in opposition.
If they had been upfront and said there’s one ministry between the two Healy Raes and and another two juniors for anyone other than Lowry then they’d have a small majority without taking the piss.
She just needs to be replaced with a former teacher – they’ll have the Irish and experience handling disruptive children
VeronaVirus missed her opportunity to show she was for the HOUSE not for the GOVERNMENT.
