That’s awful. My bus into town was really busy around 1pm. No seats left. It was never like that in the middle of the day before

I’ve seen this with Dublin bus trying to get home after a night out. Only let on a few so the others ended up hitting the windows because they had to wait another 40 minutes freezing in the middle of the night

Need Moar bus drivers and mechanics

earn up to €900 a week

As with most industries there are no more people to work these roles

      Full employment

Lowest in history of the state

Swords at it finest. Remember no metro is needed for this town in Dublin of 40,000 people…..

At least the metro is coming… in a decade (or three).

In Cork we play the Bus Lottery, we go to the bus stop and pray the next one will come and not just disappear from the “Real Time” app.
The 215 in Blarney, which runs once every 30 minutes, has a 66% chance of showing up.

In Cork, we still have to give the card to the driver to take the money; the automatic card readers are too high-tech for us, which helps a lot with running a service on time…not.

An example, you are at the bus stop at 14:30, it’s due 14:35. It vanishes, so the next one is expected at 15:05 and it arrives late, 15:15 and leaves the stop at 15:35 after every single person is processed by the poor driver one by one.
Now, the next bus, which dared to show up in time, is driving right behind you and waves “hello”. /True Story
