Time gor the entire US army to do this. Why respect a president that does not respect the law or anything really?

    3. I hope they just followed the lighthouse light to see the zeppelin. And they just slightly miscalculated their force. In Lithuania, this sometimes happens to foreigners. I regularly fall into this trap myself when I come to Lithuania. I hope that this is it. The military will be found, everything will be fine with them, they will get a little scolding from the command, and everything will end well.

    4. 4 U.S. soldiers together with an APC disappeared during an exercise in Lithuania.

Edit: multiple Lithuanian news media reports that the APC was found in a swamp with all 4 soldiers dead.

U.S. army representative last told the soldiers were still not found.

    5. How does this even happen? Don’t they have trackers on either themselves or their vehicle?

People joking about American military dying.

Nothing has changed in European rhetoric to Americans in the last few decades I see.

Amen, hope his chain of command listens: “It’s this kind of teamwork and support that exemplifies the importance of our partnership and our humanity regardless of what flags we wear on our shoulders.”

Unfortunate for those involved no matter what this is a tragedy.

In the Medieval Times Samogitian warriors did not have equipment that could match that of Teutonic orders so they used to lure them into swamps where there would only be one straight line which you had to follow in order to not drown. That’s 700 years ago.
I can’t believe these swamps are still causing problems, even deaths

The comments are filled with bots beware. This is a tragedy, those people had nothing to do with trump’s rhetoric.

    13. In a lot of ways, I wish there were more Americans on this board, beyond the regular posters and lurkers. These comments are a sobering picture of how Europeans see you; not merely how they see America’s leaders or their government, but _you_ as people and individuals.

It’s a healthy reality check. And the more people who get it, the better.

    14. This comment thread is ridiculous.

      “Oh pity”
      “Probably training Russians”

This sub hates America because Trump and his dunce VP are tearing apart the fabric of the relationship as if they’re pawns of Putin, but then in turn this sub does exactly what Putin wants by making the rift seep into the European online cultural identity.

Probably an accident, but could otherwise Russia or a Russia sympathizer be involved?

    16. Im before Lithuania attacked the US – Vance (ill just note here for the… less gifted… this is intended as satire and not a real world scenario or ‘news’ in any way…. for now…)
