Is Russia in a state of preparedness to initiate such an endeavour? War with Ukraine has seriously depleted military resources, taking on Nato even with US out of the picture seems to be a crazy concept, even for Putin!

I would assume cyber, assassinations, some airliners, sabotage, etc… very amped up. Not anything conventional.
