There’s an awful lot to be said for a quiet pint alone.

      It’s the actual dream.

The only thing that tops it is a pint with the dog.

As a middle aged woman with two young kids I Love having a quiet pint by myself and reading a paper or a book. Max two pints though and old school pub, no music, no tvs.

Absolutely, some of my favourite pints have been sat in the corner of a bar by myself, just chilling out, maybe before meeting friends or after a long day.

Though I’d be concerned if I was drinking more than a couple, getting shitfaced alone is bad humaning.

A solemn afternoon pint in Mulligans on Poolbeg street. Nothing better.

I find it a bit difficult to find a comfortable, quiet pub in Dublin after 4pm. But when I manage to find one, it’s always lovely

A very quiet hum of conversation, music barely audible, the crackle of an open fire, and the gentle hiss of the stout tap.

      Bliss

Nothing better than the quiet pint on your own in a secluded corner.
