Sto applicando cittadini tedeschi che si sono appena sposati con il mio marito cittadino americano negli Stati Uniti.
Attualmente sto riunendo i documenti per richiedere una dichiarazione di cambio di nome e avere una domanda relativa ai documenti richiesti.
Dice di fornire passaporti di entrambi i coniugi ma mio marito non ha un passaporto. Non ha mai lasciato il paese, quindi non ne ha mai avuto bisogno. Avrebbe dovuto prendere un passaporto o la sua patente di guida americana con il suo certificato di nascita sarebbe sufficiente?

they were pretty strict when my wife changed her name. he’ll need a passport.
they gave me a lot of hassle about having a middle name too (they wanted to rename my wife – her first name, her middle, my middle, my last) so expect that. they often have troubles with how the US lays out the names
edit- you need to translate your marriage certificate and get an apostle often times as well
