A video of her just laughing at the prospect for 2 minutes would have been even more fun to watch.

The amount of articles posted here about this lad is unreal, almost an obsession for some. There is literally nothing to be concerned about. He won’t get any nomination either from sitting TD or local councils as he’s too toxic and the backlash would be unimaginable and career suicide for anyone who did.
So he’s not getting near the ballot. Then in the highly unlikely event he gets on the ballot, no one is going to vote for him. The so called far right boogeyman got a collective 16 votes in the November election. They can’t mobilize themselves out of a paper bag.
Finally, in the highly unlikely event of him even being elected, there is strong precedent across the EU (Romania) where elections can be rerun where Russian interference is clear.
This should give everyone a degree of comfort, that there are serious mechanisms in place within the state that can stop people like this getting a position even remotely powerful

Is anyone actually secretly worried that if he did… he might get some serious voting numbers?

Firstly. I really hope you’re right.
But you could be wrong here.
Plenty of Americans can vote for our president, and they will if Trump promotes him.
Those same “Irish Americans” can regugitate Gregors bullshit on social media, and that’s not Russian interference from bot farms. Those are actually ignorant people, legally expressing their veiw.
I’m not trying to fear monger, but we we have to take this seriously.
In the US elections and Brexit; people who thought, “Don’t worry, it’ll never happen,” stayed at home on voting day.
