European Tarantula perhaps. I had one hanging off my shoe when I was moving firewood in Tala, don’t think it liked being moved on when I tried to encourage it down the driveway!
A tarantula, they usually hunt at night. While big and scary looking they’re pretty harmless, they prefer to run away rather than bite, even then the bite is not dangerous only painful.
