Classic Stormont. Stupid row over tiny amount of money but apparently huge cultural issue for Unionism. To put the money in perspective, it’s less than one DUP MPs annual WM expenses. I’d say get over it but this is the natural habitat of the place.
It is absolutely ridiculous and sectarian – such bitter hatred
The DUP are happy to take Irish Government funding for projects in the Sé Contae but they have a meltdown at the thought of Gaeilge on any signage

This is just the DUP trying to out-bigot the TUV so they don’t lose any (definitely not bigoted) voters to them
It could be a fiver and they’d question whether it’s better spent on a scratch card.
