È questa la tratta più semplice da Tirana a Saranda?

Hi guys, we drove through northern Albania on vacation a couple of years ago, and now we want to come back with our parents for a longer trip. Can you guys tell me if Google Maps is correct about the driving route? Just looking for the quickest/easiest route on the way down. If there are a couple of good stopping points along the way, I’d love to know. Thanks!

It’s the shortest yes. Too boring though. If you take the coastline you can stop in many interesting places. This one though I’ve never even stopped, people mostly use it to go to Greece.

I agree with those who write to take the coastal road. It’s beautiful. We did once a coastal road trip Saranda – Piran and Albanian coast is by far the most stunning.
