He is doing OPFOR (Opposition Force) in a training, so he has to wear his uniform wrong. That is called Tenue Taliban. Cause it looks like some militia with no money for a standardized uniform. Don‘t hate the player, hate the game.

It’s dark humor. I know this will probably get me downvoted, but anybody working with either first responders (EMT, Firefighters, Police) or Hospital staff (Nurses, doctors) as well as Military (although this is with a time limit, except you go the professional route) have a certain dark humor, it’s a coping mechanism. Not everything is racism, bigotry or something else.
As for the tenue in that image, as I understand it this soldier will be part of the OPFOR in an exercise (before somebody says something about his tenue lol)

Its just regular Army jargon when playing OP- Force in an exercise.
Its alwys the something currently. In a few years , you might see post a about Tenue America
Pretty sure this just refers to the training he’s taking part in. So I don’t see any “lines” that could be crosses here…
I understand it like this: that he takes on the opposing role during an army exercise is isone. So I don’t see a problem here a priori. The reason he would post this is to share his excitment about it, as generally its more fun than just being the one that’s being trained.
Nothing special. However, he needs to rethink where he posts these things.
A lot of stuff is accepted in the military by the military. But if it comes to public eyes and stuff the top brass has to act like it’s the worst thing ever and punish those involved.
