      >The T-90M Breakthrough tank is a deep modernization of Russia’s T-90 main battle tank, which the Russian Armed Forces adopted for service in 2020.

And yet it couldn’t even break through some barbed wire without dying.

In a separate video, apparently Ukrainian forces sent out a ground drone and re-laid the wire without even leaving their positions.

That’s to be expected. The tensile strength of that wire is crazy high. I’ve seen concertina wire that was anchored to concrete barriers bring an Abrams to a sudden and complete halt. Literally any tank can be stopped by well secured steel wire.

      C-wire.

Interesting that a single strand did the job.

Usually do 3 strands for anti-vehicle per regs. Gets tangled in the sprockets.

To actually use these in the way they are designed, russia would need to get through Ukraines defensive lines. Russia seems to lack the coordination to exploit breakthroughs in the way there doctrine tells them too. Its too complex for them. At this point Russia would probably have trouble building up enough reserves to do a massive armored breakthrough

Very simple very effective against any tank.. same with just digging a ditch

Wtf, in no way is this believable. That tank was blown up and then brand new concertina wire was placed around it.

Out at NTC. I was a Bradley Commander.

Late at night, movement to contact, using NVG out of the BC position.

We found contact! Our two tracks were getting shit from everywhere but all was well until we threw a track.

We ran into a small wire obstacle that became a big obstacle!

The second video in that link, where the drone operator takes his time to get just the right vector of attack, scoots the drone right between the turret and hull, with predictable results …
