So, some of my guy friends approached me, they are active soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 🇺🇦, who had the idea to make a mini excursion of the 1st day to the soldiers in a safe place.
During this excursion you can get a lot of unforgettable impressions 🙂
Naturally, this whole idea did not arise for nothing and its goal is simple – to organize financial support for our guys.
We are looking for and thinking over different methods of obtaining financial assistance in order to provide the guys with everything they need for work.
The purchase amounts are often calculated in hundreds of thousands of hryvnia at a time, these are cars, electronic warfare, drones, equipment and often this is lost in battle …
But it saves lives, and this is the main thing!
Therefore, for us this is an opportunity to continue to exist, and for you it is an opportunity to get unforgettable impressions and personally communicate and give a hand to those who are now acting as a shield not only for themselves, but also for Europe.
The price of such an excursion, including accommodation for 1 day in the city of Dnipro, is 1500 dollars (the entire amount minus expenses will go to the guys’ piggy bank)
A great opportunity to help the guys, see them in person and help them 🙂

I’m 100% sure you’re already tracking this, but make sure whoever decides to take you up on this follows proper OPSEC. Tons of really terrible examples of war tourists coming in and posting tons of pics online, only to have the ruzzians later target that area with Shaheds/Glide Bombs/Iskanders/etc.
Really thinking outside the box here though, I respect the ingenuity. Wish the US would just get their head out of their ass and help, but with this pro Russian administration I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

Do you get to fire some shots off in the direction of the Russians?

I just saw an American comedian last night who did this. He went to meet up with a group of comedians and ended up at the front somehow. It was a good story.

I personally feel like you already got enough on your mind than to babysit someone. Appreciated but I feel thats a bad idea unless it really gives you plenty ressources in return.

You may want to consult experts in international law. Allowing civilians on a military controlled site, facility, base, training area, or other military adjacent-use land during a time of war may be a legal problem regarding conventions against human shields or even the perception and propaganda of human shields.
>International humanitarian law (IHL) **strictly prohibit the use of civilians and other protected persons as human shields to make military sites immune from enemy attacks or to prevent reprisals during an offensive** (GCIII, art. 23; GCIV, arts. 28 and 49; API, arts. 51(7) and 58; APII, art. 5(2)(c) and 13). Additionally, directing the movement of protected persons to attempt to shield military objectives or operations is also prohibited. -[The Practical Guide to Humanitarian Law ■ Human Shields](https://guide-humanitarian-law.org/content/article/3/human-shields/)

Why not do a virtual excursion? We can all bid on it, you draw a ticket. Winner gets a zoom or other virtual conversation or tour? Just some ideas.

I would love to come with my kids next year and tell them „this is where AFU launched their offensive that led to ruzzian defeat after our country (Germany) finally grew some balls and donated REAL levels of equipment and pumped up arms production to pre-WW2 levels while putin shit his pants.
Maybe more realistic to say „this is where the conflict froze after UA made it clear that they have functional nukes…

Are those tactical Crocs he’s wearing?
War tourism is stupid. This is not entertainment.
