È paradossale che l’Armenia accetti di delimitare il confine di stato attorno ai quattro villaggi, mentre l’Azerbaigian ufficiale è così meschino, ingannevole e inaffidabile che, anche per il comunicato stampa relativo all’accordo “storico” tra le due nazioni, decidono di fabbricare la mappa e pubblicare una mappa mappa fittizia.

I understand the need to legally partake in negotiations and discussions with the enemy. What makes it seem irrational is how so much gusto and energy is put into appeasing and ‘meeting them halfway’ on their points when they very intentionally continue to act in bad faith and push their goalposts further and further away. At some point in time a firm yet rational stance should be adopted so as to maintain our own interests, you can’t do anything else when ‘convening’ with this joke of an enemy country.
This is the philosophy of the government of azerbaijan. If they can keep their people distracted with things like this, with territorial claims and with the picture of us as their enemy then the people may not think about the internal economic, social, and legal problems which plague azerbaijan.
