Beautiful pictures, thank you. And a lovely sentiment also. The pictures of Cobh have a real San Francisco vibe somehow (at least to me). I pray we can get over our resistance to greater density, and ‘nimby-ism’ so that we can both provide the housing we need, and preserve as much of countryside as possible.

One pet peeve: there are between 600-700,000 islands on this planet and Ireland is bigger than all bar 19 of them.

As islands go, on planet Earth anyway, Ireland is a large island.
