Serious question: why did it take until now for major protests in US against trump? In 2017 women’s March was the day after inauguration.

I am ready to be down voted to hell, but unpopular opinion… as person that went there in NYC (risking it, I know) felt less than a protest and more like a parade. When you bring small children to protest.. yeah the vibes just feel off. Other people started playing the Cupid shuffle.
The US truly is walking by itself into fascism.
