By Mandy Taheri – Weekend Reporter:

Thousands of demonstrators are taking part in global “Hands Off!” protests against President Donald Trump and his top adviser, billionaire Elon Musk, with hundreds rallying in “about a dozen” cities across Europe, a spokesperson for the mobilizing coalition told Newsweek on Saturday.

The official “Hands Off!” website calls upon local advocacy groups and organizers to mobilize people to speak up against the administration, writing: “Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. They’re taking everything they can get their hands on, and daring the world to stop them. I’m glad that this happened, but I actually think that the protests in the US would have to reach critical levels in terms of population in order for the white house and congress to actually give a fuck. Kind of like Serbia. I doubt that this will happen in the near future, which is why I think that replicating an event such as “A Day Without Mexicans” would actually have a greater effect. Having mass groups of people take a certain amount of days off of work at the same time or not continuously not buy from most places. Just as the white house has expressed, they care way less about the will of the people and way more about money and labour. This is just my opinion, but the greatest protest would be one where the working class stops working.
