“The rallies even extended to some European capitals, where demonstrators voiced opposition to Trump and his aggressive trade policies.”
Any european marching or protesting against trump is enabling him. Let the senile leader do whatever he wants and face the consequences, focus on what we can improve.

Let Trump do his thing, all he does is making purchases for the everyday american and the american industry more expensive. They are dependent on many imports and they will pay the higher prices. Yeah, some exporting sectors in Europe will suffer too, but, eff it, time to find new business partners – adapt or go down.
The dollar as a global reserve currency will suffer too and there is a window of opportunity for other countries/currencies to fill this power vacuum. If the world plays it smart the USA will be a footnote in the history books.

It’s not hard to ignore meetings with the family and friend without recognizing the Greatest president ever in the US.

It’s been pretty dark visiting subs as being someone living in the US.
Guessing some may miss the intense ambivalence of two polarized parties pulling in different directions at once. The perspective seems to be interpreted as ignorance, inaction, or standing by and just watching. My analogy is it’s more like looking at a tug rope, straight down over it, or a pressure cooker with the lid sealed tight — from the outside, it may look calm or as indifference, but things are not always what they seem.
Hopefully all around there is more genuine dialogue with clarity, accountability and precision. This helps limit the division, distrust and generalization that encourages polarization and hampers the efforts of all, internally and externally. Extremes erode the foundations needed for a constructive debate and problem-solving actions. So hoping for the best that we all can move forward with more clarity and precision. At times I think my life depends on it.

I joined a rally on my suburb town near Seattle.
I was genuinely impressed to see so many old people with large signs chanting/marching. Old people are pissed about any threat to their social security.
Younger people are more pissed about the tariffs and international diplomacy (saw a sign that said “Hands-Off my allies” with EU/Canadian flags)
Everybody is pissed about democracy at stake and congress not doing their job.

He doesn’t care, he is the same as Poutine and it’s too late now.
American should have voted against him instead of playing video games at home. That’s the outcome.
