Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday condemned the United States for what he described as an “unacceptably weak” response to a Russian missile strike that killed 19 civilians and injured more than 70 others in his hometown of Kryvyi Rih.
In a post on X, Zelenskyy called the attack “a massacre” and accused Moscow of displaying “no deeper level of cynicism, vileness, or hatred.” He expressed frustration over the US Embassy’s reaction to the strike, saying, “Such a strong country, such a strong people, and yet such a weak reaction.”
“They are afraid to even say the word ‘Russian’ when speaking about the missile that murdered children,” Zelenskyy added, calling on global leaders to avoid silence and issue clear condemnations. “Every such strike must be met with a response from the world.”
The Ukrainian leader praised European and Asian partners for speaking out against the attack but singled out Washington for its muted tone. “To end this war, we must not be afraid to call things by their names.”

I don’t think Russian assets are allowed to say bad things about Russia, so it’s not really a surprise.
They have shown who they are, I get Zelensky and his pushes and need of the US but they should not be trusted anymore, not even in the medium to long run. ( and their chief muppet is clearly a ruzzian asset )
What was he expecting? He really thinks the US is still a rational superpower and an ally? Since liberation day, the US liberated itself from it’s last bit of remaining credibility. Judging trumps actions, Ukraine has lost any US support anyways. Trump probably will support russia soon with weapons.
He’s probably hoping that insulting T rumps manhood will lead to a better response in the future. Smart.

Russia is firing cluster-munition rockets at playgrounds, restaurants, etc., and the United States ambassador won’t even name the perpetrator.

Why would they care? They’ve done the some for decades in the Middle East. Call those innocent dead collateral damage and you’ll be fine.
