Ho visto questo oggi mentre camminavo e per la mia comprensione dovrebbe essere meglio organizzato per la raccolta o sbaglio? Fondamentalmente l’intera strada era così. Rischi una multa se qualcuno ti vede posizionare la carta fuori in questo modo?

That is not paper but cardboard collection. My understanding is that the city prefers those bundled, but I also think that expectation is quite unrealistic.
I mean… I do more than enough already holding sometimes quite an amount of cardboard for two weeks. If I on top of that need to bundle and flatten it, I feel this way to collect the cardboard is quite inefficient and annoying, especially if you have a peak of it for whatever reason and you need to hold it. The city needs to ELI me why there are not cardboard containers in every street that they collect regularly.
PS: I could say the same for paper. I don’t have newspapers and magazines. I have other kinds of papers that sometimes are not flat. Why should I waste my time flattening them and bundling them? I usually just cram them into a paper bag. They have quite powerful machinery to solve their issues.
In my town it ends up on a huge pile on a back of a truck even though it’s 90% neatly organised on the ground. It seems quite fine the way it is in your photo.
I’ve seen much much worse over the years, it’s not ideal but it’s decent, as long as it doesn’t heavily rain there shouldn’t be any problem.
Cardboard boxes for the cardboard collection have to be bundled at the cardboard collection point. Anything else is a gross violation and should be punished. In larger towns, companies take over the collection and disposal of cardboard and paper. In smaller communities, associations and their volunteers do this. Now, providing cardboard and paper unbundled not only gives them more work, but it is simply anti-social. Here in the neighbourhood, you can easily tell the Swiss from the expats. Expats don’t bundle the cardboard and just put the stuff outside like that. But not even that has a system. Everyone does as they please. What a mess.
