This is not the first time Ukraine has either deliberately lied, mislead or distorted information for its own purpose in a manner that is harmful to Europe. And that’s hardly the worst thing they’ve done.

You should treat Ukraine like a patient with a deadly disease: help them but always putting your own safety first.

Honestly I think this is a bad move from Zelensky, Trump hates China economically but I’ve gotta feeling he wouldn’t lift a finger if Taiwan was invaded. There’s a whole bunch of his base that does not like Zelensky and will look for a reason to attack him. We’ve known there’s been chinese nationals since ages ago. They literally don’t hide it. And now to the Americans that hate Ukraine they’ll see this as Zelensky trying to fool them and that will backfire. Trump doesn’t want to commit to spend more money on Ukraine and he’ll see this a perfect scapegoat to say Zelensky is lying and trying to “rip America off”
