Combined with increased processing speed and reduced immigration numbers, can’t see anyone logical being upset with this.

I have tried to keep my counsel on this matter as it is divisive and emotive – but it is remarkable that the government appears to have moved from a very permissive position to something stronger. Does that mean that they have changed their view or does it mean that the feedback they have gotten has made it clear that they have to be seen to be doing *something*?
Dare I say with the increased Garda presence on the streets and this, Miriam’s brother is doing quite a decent job as minister for justice so far. Or was the bar from his predecessor just so low?
