Diceva qualcosa come “tiro amichevole”. Qualcuno potrebbe sapere cosa potrebbe significare? Grazie in anticipo!

      Friendship shooting

Wich means he was part of a Schützenclub, wich is a Community where one can shoot Air Rifles and if they have the Range and a Permit even some higher Caliber Guns such as Pistols or Hinting Rifles. The Friendshooting was probaly them visting or being visited by another Schützenclub

the cover-inscription indicates there was a shooting event / competition in 1953, a so called ‘friendship-shooting’. this should be a traditional event in this particular shooting club – priv. schützengesellschaft st.-georgen gegr. 1720 – or even region. so this is linked to a traditional gun club. things changed a lot but there are still today a lot of regions in germany with different kinds of shooting clubs with a variety of traditions. gun clubs are recognized as immaterial cultural heritage.
