Great race from him, thought Browning might have caught him when he got into second but unreal pace from Dunne
And on the 2 year anniversary of losing Craig Breen. If he keeps this up, he’s got a good shout of an F1 seat next year
Stellar race by him. Over 5 seconds ahead of the field and had pace to spare compared to the other soft-hard runners.
Also grabbed a note for history as this was the 200th F2 Feature Race.

Glad that Bahrain have the Irish national anthem for the podium, few circuits got caught out by that back in the day…
The Irish national anthem to be played for the first time on an F1 weekend since Jordan won in 1999 (they were robbed in 2003 of the opportunity). If only Eddie was around to hear it

Not only won it… completely dominated it. He’s the real deal.
And he won on pure pace. No weird race shenanigans involved. He’s obviously very quick, if he can keep his head (unlike yesterday), he can be the full package

Fantastic result especially coming back from a disappointing end to a very competitive showing yesterday but lets not forget that Martin Donnelly won 3 races & finished 3rd in the championship (when the championship was called f3000) & Derek Daly won 3 races in F2 in the late 70s
Give him a year or two and if the F1 politics treat him well then I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the grid with a midfield teamÂ
