      This ranks up there as one of the greatest Irish sporting achievements. Joins only 5 others like Ben Hogan, Player, Nicklaus, Tiger to win the grand slam of golf.

      I really feared for his safety. Thought Shane Lowry was going to tear across the green and bodyslam him. Thankfully Shane contained himself but it’ll still take Rory’s ribcage a few weeks to recover from that bearhug. Amazing scenes, not just a momentous moment in Irish sport but European sport.
