On paper, these artillery pieces have an effective range of 40 km – 50 km (standard shell) up to 60 km (rocket assisted ammo). Seeing that an FPV drone took them out, this leaves me some questions:

First, is the real range of these guns less than we thought? Or is perhaps the accuracy so bad, they have to move them closer to the front? Did this artillery group overextend and got careless, and Ukrainians took the opportunity for a strike? Or is it that Ukrainian FPV tech has improved so much that it can reach on par with, even beyond standard artillery pieces’ range (25 km +)?
