There are countless cases of Russians shelling Ukrainian cities back in 2014 and then blaming Ukraine for it. One disturbing example is Arsen Pavlov (callsign “Motorola”), who is seen in a video firing a grenade launcher into residential areas of Donetsk. The footage captures him joking about needing to “wake up the locals,” trivializing the act of launching explosives into civilian zones — turning war into a twisted joke.
