I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again;
the swamp of impossible to follow and convoluted rules to get a permit here in Vlaanderen are one of the biggest reasons we’re regressing as both an economic and societal power.
These individuals who are abusing the system to enrich themselves on the cost of others are really egoistic people and they should be utterly ashamed of their contribution in delaying other people their houses/apartments or making it a lot more expensive
And yeah yeah not all project developers are honest or have the best interest of the neighbourhood in their mind but that’s no reason to straight up blackmail them and enable a system to easily do that. Big problem
Mensen gaan zich dus steeds meer gedragen zoals de politici waarvoor ze gestemd hebben.
Gwn die klachten negeren. Mensen die over 10 jaar dood zijn hebben niets te zeggen over de toekomst van dit land. We gaan hier geen amerikaanse toestanden krijgen qua huizen.
Fuck these projects. I live in Merchtem, come check how “sustainable” they are; they take away family homes, bring shade, garbage (because who the fuck care about a sidewalk you share with 10 other people, right?!), you’re not obligated to rent a parking space so the streets and public parkings are littered with cars, … And most of them are owned and built by the same people, so yeah no.. not a fan.
These developers are mafia themselves. Shame people are abusing the law, but I could not care less about the developers.
