The world as we know it is in peril because of Trump and right wing politics.
Ofc they’re pleased. They economically, demographically and militarily are outmatched by both Europe and the U.S.
Their only hope of ever being the dominant power in Europe was to divide and conquer, and the U.S. and EU were the biggest part. There’s still plenty of pain and crisis left for more far rightoids in Europe to screech how they have the answer to everything.
